A sixteen character, two line LCD provides user feedback from the control system software. The display of menu choices enable the user to set up a shot. The default exposure ready display indicates current slit width, exposure, delay before exposure commences and the chosen angle of rotation.
A Schneider 90 mm Super Angulon in a barrel mount is used for this camera that is designed for pictorial landscape work.
A pair of custom 9.6 volt NiCad batteries provides the system power. Each of the two batteries resides in the side compartments and is easily removed for recharging or exchange.
This rotating knob with a dovetailed extension lever is used to move the lens up and down for use with look-up and look-down shots. This prevents the occurrence of a curved horizon line that would normally result from the camera being off of a level position.
This series of four pushbuttons comprises the control input interface for the camera. The rearmost button is the menu selection button. The next two buttons increment or decrement the current menu selection and the front button initiates exposure with the current menu selections.
This rotating knob operates a rotary slit width control mechanism that provides a choice of four different slit widths. The mechanism is linked to the on-control system so that the software will recognize the current chosen slit width at all times.
This lever disengages the latch that holds the film compartment cover in place. The entire rear section of the camera body lifts off to provide access to the film reels.
